On October 04th, 2024, Saigon Grand Center proudly hosted the Little Saigon, Orange County: Demographic and Economic Profile  event, organized by California State University, Fullerton, the College of Business and Economics, and the Orange County Inland Empire Small Business Development Center. This prestigious gathering brought together key community leaders to discuss the economic impact of Little Saigon and explore future opportunities for growth and collaboration. As a vital cultural hub in Orange County, Little Saigon has significant economic influence, making this event crucial for stakeholders invested in the community's development.

The event took place in our expansive Ballroom, a space renowned for its grandeur and versatility. Featuring state-of-the-art facilities, the Ballroom is equipped with interactive LED screens that ensured all attendees had a clear view of the presentations. This setup facilitated engaging discussions and created a dynamic atmosphere conducive to learning.


Flexible seating arrangements allowed participants to choose their comfort, whether they preferred theater-style seating for presentations or more intimate setups for group discussions. Our welcoming Lobby served as the perfect introduction for distinguished guests, setting a warm tone for the day ahead with its elegant décor and comfortable lounge area.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of a groundbreaking report from the Woods Center for Economic Analysis and Forecasting. This first-of-its-kind report provided valuable insights into the economic dynamics of Orange County’s Little Saigon, emphasizing its significance as a thriving community hub.


The findings revealed not only the economic contributions of local businesses but also the challenges they face in a rapidly changing market. Attendees were encouraged to leverage this data in their business strategies, fostering a data-driven approach to decision-making.

We were honored to welcome influential figures, including Tam Nguyen '05, President of Advance Beauty College, along with city representatives from Fountain Valley, Westminster, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana. Their participation underscored the event’s importance in fostering collaboration and dialogue among local leaders.


During panel discussions, community leaders shared their visions for the future of Little Saigon, emphasizing the importance of community engagement, innovation, and supporting local businesses. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and build connections, creating a collaborative spirit that resonated throughout the day.
